On October 2, 2018, a panel discussion on the topic of “Politics and social entrepreneurship” was successfully concluded in Kathmandu, Nepal. The event was attended by a diverse group of individuals, including politicians, social entrepreneurs, and members of the community.
The panel discussion was moderated by Rohit Tiwari – Co-Founder of Home Cooked Food service – Foodmario, and featured Dibyesh Giri – Co-Founder & CEO Smart Tech as well as Founder Janata Clinic, Ranjan Ojha – Founding President Nepal Music Festival & Founder Nepal School of Entrepreneurship & Ar. Melli Shah – Central Committee Member of Nepal Student Union, Executive Member of Sunakothi Business & Professional Women & Founder cum Chairman of Mely Associates Pvt Ltd. The panelists shared their insights and experiences on the intersection of politics and social entrepreneurship, and discussed the challenges and opportunities that arise when working at this intersection.
